Data residency means keeping data, and the systems that process it, inside a chosen country. For Hide that country is Saudi Arabia: every environment we build or operate stays in Saudi data centers, and this website itself runs on Saudi infrastructure.
The rules expect it
The Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) limits when personal data may be transferred outside the Kingdom, and the NCA's Cloud Cybersecurity Controls (CCC) set requirements for hosting and processing data inside it. Keeping data in the country from the start is simpler than justifying every transfer later.
Control stays with you
When servers sit in a Saudi data center, your entity knows which laws apply to its data, who holds the encryption keys and who can enter the room. Nothing leaves the country unless you decide it should.
Your users feel it
Latency is the time a request takes to reach the server and come back. Hosting close to your users keeps it low, so portals and internal systems respond quickly across the Kingdom.
